Traditional folk embriodery is in its way an image of the heart of Croatian women from all parts of Croatia, from Slavonia to Konavle, from Istria to Zagreb. On the many techniques, one might mention just a few, such as interlinked, striped, crosses, pierced and flat stiches, diagonal and grained points, and many other local and traditional kinds of embriodery for which it is hard to find equivalents in other languages.
